Internet Banking Security
We'd like to reassure each of our internet banking customers that our internet banking system has been tested and is believed to be unaffected by the Heartbleed Security breach. Although we found no indication of vulnerability, we recommend you change your password as an extra precaution in securing your account. It is also important to remember you should always monitor your accounts on a regular basis and notify us immediately if you notice any suspicious activity on your statement.
It's important to change your passwords frequently, using different passwords for each site and/or app, and to make them difficult to guess by making each one several characters long using a combination of uppercase, lower case, numbers and symbols. Always avoid using your birthdate, mother's maiden name, childrens' names, pet names or other obvious identifying words/numbers.
