Potential Phishing Scheme Targeting BoCC Customers

The bank has been made aware of a potential scam/phishing scheme targeting our customers.  Thursday morning, May 4th, an individual received an automated phone call that appeared to come from the bank with Bank of Cave City and the bank's phone number appearing in the caller id.  The automated caller asked the individual to verify their account number by entering and then pressing pound.

Should you receive a similar call, do NOT give out any information, hang up immediately.  The Bank of Cave City will NOT call or email you asking you to verify personal or account information.
