Recent Scam Alert:

Lawrence Health has warned area residents not to respond to phone calls being made  to gain financial or medical information.  According to the media release, officials with Lawrence Health said potential scammers are operating under the name Lawrence Health Center and using local phone numbers to make phishing calls.  The group is not affiliated with Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence Hall Nursing Center,  Home Medical Equipment and Supplies, Family Medical Center or Imboden Clinc, the release noted. Never give out your financial, credit/debit card and/or personal information to an organization/someone you don't know.  If you wish to verify the caller, hang up and call the "organization" in question by looking up the phone number in your local phone directory and ask for the individual's name.
